At La Correa Creativa we want you to receive your works and products in the expected condition. That is why this Returns Policy explains clearly how to manage a return, when you can exercise the right of withdrawal and what happens when a product shows damage, defects or lack of conformity.
This policy applies to purchases made through:

and should be read together with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the Shipping Policy, the Privacy Policy and the rest of the legal information available on the website.

Right of withdrawal
Where the law permits, consumers have a period of 14 calendar days to withdraw from a purchase made at a distance, without giving any reason.
Exercising the right of withdrawal does not imply any penalty for the consumer.
In the case of physical products, the period begins on the day the consumer, or a third party indicated by them other than the carrier, acquires material possession of the product.
When a single order includes several products delivered separately, the period will begin from the receipt of the last product.
Which products can be returned?
Provided the legal requirements are met, the right of withdrawal may apply to:
- Original works
Original works purchased through the shop may be returned within the legal withdrawal period, provided no legal exception applies.
Limited edition prints
Standard limited edition prints may be returned within the legal withdrawal period, provided they have not been made to the customer's particular specifications and the other legal conditions are met.
Other physical products
Physical products that may be added to the shop later will be subject to the right of withdrawal where legally applicable.
Personalized products and commissions
Personalized artistic commissions may be excluded from the right of withdrawal when they are goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized.
This exclusion is expressly provided for by Spanish consumer protection law.
For example, a product may be considered personalized when the customer requests:
- A composition created specifically for them
An illustration based on photographs or particular instructions.
A work with specific dimensions requested by the customer.
A combination of elements specifically chosen by the customer.
A work made following personal instructions that is not part of the standard catalogue.
The exclusion of the right of withdrawal does not remove the consumer's rights where there is a lack of conformity, defect or breach of contract.
Digital downloads
Downloadable digital products may be subject to a different regime from physical products.
In the case of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal may be excluded when:
- The customer has expressly requested that the supply begin before the withdrawal period ends
The customer has acknowledged that, once the supply has begun, they may lose their right of withdrawal.
The other requirements established by the applicable law have been met.
Therefore, before starting an immediate download, the purchase process may request a specific acceptance regarding the start of the supply and the loss of the right of withdrawal.
Once the supply of digital content has legally begun under these conditions, a return cannot be requested simply because the customer has changed their mind.
This does not affect the consumer's rights where the digital content shows a lack of conformity.
How to request a return by withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must communicate their decision before the legal period of 14 calendar days ends.
The communication must be sent to:

The customer may use the withdrawal form available on the website or make an unequivocal statement indicating that they wish to withdraw from the purchase.
It is not mandatory to use a specific form provided the communication clearly identifies the consumer's decision.
Information we recommend including in the request
To facilitate handling, it is recommended to indicate:
- Full name
Order number.
Date of purchase.
Product you wish to return.
Date of receipt.
Email address used to make the purchase.
Express statement that you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal.
The absence of any of these details will not prevent the exercise of the right where the request allows the customer and the order to be reasonably identified.
Period for returning the product
Once the decision to withdraw has been communicated, the customer must return the product without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 calendar days of communicating the withdrawal.
The period will be considered met if the customer sends the product before it ends.
Return address
The specific address to which the product must be sent will be communicated to the customer after the return request is received.
It is not recommended to send any product on your own initiative to the address indicated in the Legal Notice, as the return address may differ from the tax or contact address.
The customer will receive the corresponding instructions before making the shipment.
Return costs
In the case of withdrawal, the direct return costs will be borne by the customer, unless:
- La Correa Creativa has expressly stated that it bears them
The product received is incorrect.
The product shows a lack of conformity.
The applicable law establishes that they must be borne by La Correa Creativa.
The regulations establish that the consumer will bear the direct return costs when they have been previously informed of this.
Condition of the returned product
The customer must handle the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
The consumer may be liable for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to carry out that check.
In the case of artworks, it is recommended to keep:
- The original packaging
The certificate of authenticity.
The protective elements.
The documentation included with the work.
The return must be made using suitable packaging to avoid damage during transport.
Original works
In the case of an original work returned by withdrawal, the work must be returned in a condition that allows its nature and characteristics to be reasonably verified.
Returning a work does not imply returning the certificate of authenticity separately: where a certificate associated with the work has been delivered, it must be returned together with it.
The certificate does not in itself constitute a product independent of the work.
Limited edition prints
Limited edition prints subject to a return by withdrawal must be returned in adequate condition.
The customer must avoid:
- Folding the print unnecessarily
Handling it with dirty hands.
Damaging the surface.
Writing on it.
Altering it.
Cutting it.
Framing it permanently where this prevents its return in adequate condition.
Handling that produces a diminished value may give rise to the liability provided for by law.
Refund
Where the withdrawal has been correctly exercised, La Correa Creativa will refund the amounts received from the customer, including, where applicable, the costs of standard delivery.
If the customer chose a delivery option more expensive than the least expensive standard option offered by the shop, the additional amount corresponding to that choice will not be refunded.
Refund period
The refund will be made without undue delay and, in any case, within the maximum period legally established from when La Correa Creativa was informed of the decision to withdraw.
In the case of returns of goods, La Correa Creativa may withhold the refund until the products have been received or until the customer has provided proof of their return, whichever occurs first.
Refund method
The refund will generally be made using the same payment method used by the customer to make the purchase.
In the case of card payments made through Stripe, the refund will be made through the same payment system, where technically applicable.
The customer will not bear any costs for the refund.
Damaged, defective or incorrect products
The right of withdrawal is different from the rights arising from a lack of conformity.
If the product received:
- Is damaged
Shows a defect.
Does not correspond to the product purchased.
Does not match the description offered.
Shows a lack of conformity with the contract.

The issue will be handled in accordance with consumer protection regulations.
Costs arising from defective or incorrect products
Where there is a lack of conformity legally attributable to the seller, the remedies to bring the product into conformity must be carried out free of charge for the consumer, including the necessary transport and shipping costs that correspond.
Therefore, the customer must not bear the return costs when the return is the consequence of a defective, incorrect or non-conforming product.
Legal guarantee
Consumers have the legal conformity guarantee rights established by Spanish law.
When a product does not conform to the contract, the consumer may exercise the remedies provided for by law, which may include, depending on the circumstances:
- Repair
Replacement.
Price reduction.
Termination of the contract.
The specific solution will depend on the nature of the lack of conformity and the requirements established by current legislation.
Original works and characteristics inherent to artistic creation
Handmade works may show small characteristics inherent to their creation process.
For example:
- Natural variations in pigmentation
Paper textures.
Small irregularities inherent to the technique.
Variations in the application of the material.
Differences arising from photography or on-screen display.
These characteristics will not constitute a lack of conformity when they are inherent to the artistic nature of the product and have been adequately disclosed before the purchase.
However, this provision does not limit the consumer's legal rights where there is a real defect or lack of conformity.
Damage occurring during transport
If the product arrives damaged, the customer must contact La Correa Creativa as soon as possible.
It is recommended to keep:
- The outer package
The protective materials.
The product.
The shipping label.
Photographs of the packaging.
Photographs of the damage.
Photographs are requested solely to facilitate handling of the issue.
The lack of photographs or loss of the packaging does not in itself constitute a waiver of the consumer's legal rights.
Incorrect product received
If the customer receives a product different from the one shown in their order, they must notify:

After checking the issue, La Correa Creativa will provide the corresponding solution, including, where applicable, replacement of the product or a refund.
The costs arising from correcting an error attributable to La Correa Creativa will be borne by it.
Personalized orders
Custom commissions constitute a specific category.
Where the work has been made to the customer's specifications or has been clearly personalized, it may be excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with the law.
However, the customer retains their legal rights in the event of:
- Defect
Damage.
Error attributable to La Correa Creativa.
Failure to meet the agreed characteristics.
Lack of conformity.
The exclusion of withdrawal does not constitute a waiver of the legal guarantee.
Changes of mind in custom commissions
Where a custom commission has already begun, the customer may not demand its cancellation solely on the grounds that they have changed their mind when the legal exception to the right of withdrawal applies.
The specific economic conditions of the commission may establish what happens if the customer requests cancellation before the work is finished.
These particular conditions must be communicated and accepted before the commission begins.
Digital downloads
Digital downloads cannot be returned once the supply has begun when:
- The customer has expressly requested the immediate start
They have acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal where legally applicable.
The applicable legal requirements have been met.
If the file shows a technical problem, is corrupted or does not correspond to the advertised characteristics, the customer must notify it so the lack of conformity can be remedied.
Problems with a download
If a digital download does not work correctly, the customer must contact:

Device used.
File format.
Error message.
Screenshot.
Where there is a lack of conformity, La Correa Creativa will provide the corresponding solution in accordance with the applicable law.
28. Returns are not accepted for reasons unrelated to a lack of conformity where the law does not provide for them
La Correa Creativa does not establish an unlimited commercial returns policy beyond the legally recognized rights.
Returns will be processed in accordance with:
- Legal right of withdrawal
Legal guarantee of conformity.
Legally established exceptions.
Particular conditions accepted for custom commissions.
This policy does not limit the non-waivable rights recognized to consumers.

If it is a withdrawal, return the product within the legal period.

7. Once the return has been received and the corresponding requirements met, the refund will be processed.

Applicable law
This Returns Policy is governed by Spanish law and, where applicable, by European consumer protection regulations.
In particular, the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, will be taken into account.
Where the customer is a consumer, the rights recognized by the applicable mandatory rules will be respected.
Updating the Policy
La Correa Creativa may amend this Returns Policy when necessary to adapt it to:
