Technique
Original watercolor
Transparency, fluidity and layers of color. It is the technique with the most work for sale today.
13 pieces available out of 15.
Why do I paint in watercolor?
Watercolor allows no corrections. Every stain stays where it falls and the image is built little by little: first the water, then the color and finally the gesture. The quality of the paper takes part in the process and makes each piece unrepeatable, even within the same series.
Four of my series are in this technique. Travel Faces builds faces out of stains and spontaneous gestures, with an atmosphere halfway between what was lived and what was imagined. Oreads uses transparency to speak of the transition between the visible and the hidden. Little Mediterranean Cubes is born from the colors of the Mediterranean of Málaga and the movement of its waves, in small pieces on cardstock. Tabletop Sketches are quick notes from life, painted in one sitting.
They are original works on paper, signed and prepared to reach you with professional packaging and insured shipping from Spain.
