About this piece
Mestiza explores the meeting of tradition and contemporaneity through a composition inspired by the Spanish deck of cards. The figure, built as a queen of hearts, evokes duality, balance and female strength, while the oil brings depth and a presence that changes with the light. Inspired by the visual and musical universe of Mëstiza, it fuses references to flamenco with Arab, Latin and electronic influences.
