About this piece
A ballet figure balances on a small sphere, in an exercise of fragile and constant balance. The posture, suspended between stability and falling, represents the tension of moving forward when everything around seems uncertain. The muted tones wrap the scene in a contained atmosphere, while the colors of the Granma flag appear concentrated in the sphere: a small point of identity and resistance on which everything seems to rest.
